Vida Morad

Dr. Vida Morad grew up in Mission Viejo, California, and has spent more than half her life in San Diego. She began working in the veterinary field while still in high school—starting in reception, then moving into kennel care before becoming a veterinary assistant. By 2010, she had become a registered veterinary technician and went on to gain experience in internal medicine, surgery, research at the Scripps Research Institute, and most notably, emergency and critical care—where her passion for ECC truly blossomed.

Dr. Morad has a strong interest in providing comfort to clients through education while alleviating the pain and distress their pets may be experiencing. Her areas of focus include point-of-care imaging, therapeutic procedures, and pain management modalities. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from UC Davis in 2024, followed by a rotating internship at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego in Sorrento Valley.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Morad enjoys traveling, running, hiking, yoga, meditation, escape rooms, crossword puzzles, movies, caring for her growing collection of plants, and exploring new cuisines as a dedicated foodie. She also treasures time with her family, especially her two young nieces. Having lost her beloved dog during her final year of vet school, she looks forward to welcoming new fur babies into her life soon.

Dr. Morad has long loved San Francisco and is excited to join the team, bringing her compassion, curiosity, and emergency medicine expertise to the pets and families of the Bay Area.
