SAGE Veterinary Centers
About Us
Who We Are
Whether providing companionship, performing special services, or teaching responsibility and life lessons to children, an animal’s worth is undeniable. And because they give us their best every day, we strive to always do the same.
We form a community of experienced, board-certified veterinary professionals who provide unparalleled emergency and specialty care.
Expertise, compassion, and collaboration drive everything we do — ensuring the best possible outcome for pets and pet parents.
SAGE Philosophy
We believe animals are amazing.
We are here because we appreciate and love animals.
We will give pets and their families the best possible care with kindness and respect.
We believe in continual learning.
Our profession is based on scientific knowledge. Our success depends upon creative problem-solving, up-to-date training, and the finest skills.
We are committed to advancing veterinary medicine and improving pet care throughout the Bay Area.
We believe in collaboration.
We work in partnership with referring veterinarians and one another, knowing it is fundamental to our integrated approach and to continuity of care.
All of us are responsible for maintaining the high standards and positive attitude that makes SAGE a great work place.
We believe we are part of a greater whole.
In pursuing our mission, we have both opportunities and obligations to contribute to our communities, to minimize our environmental impact, and to model sustainability.
Our state-of-the-art facilities offer the latest in veterinary surgical and diagnostic tools.
In our operating rooms, we have equipment to perform all orthopedic surgeries, neurological surgeries including brain surgery, chest and abdominal surgery, reconstructive surgery, oncologic (cancer) surgery, and minimally invasive surgery.
We also perform fluoroscopy, video endoscopy and abdominal ultrasound with guided biopsies.
State-of-the-Art Facilities
SAGE uses digital technology for taking radiographs and we offer helical Computed Tomography (CT scan) in each of our facilities. At our Campbell hospital, SAGE has partnered with PetCure Oncology to offer radiation therapy with one of the most advanced linear accelerators available in veterinary medicine, the Halcyon Treatment System, to deliver these treatments to cancer patients.
SAGE has also partnered with AnimalScan to bring a high-grade Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine to our Campbell and Redwood City hospitals. MRI is a diagnostic technique that uses magnetic fields and radio waves to produce a detailed image of the body’s soft tissue and bones.
Both Campbell and Redwood City facilities are fitted with state-of-the-art physical rehabilitation areas, with underwater treadmills available for hydrotherapy.
