Dr. Bowe was raised in Roseland, New Jersey. He completed his undergraduate degree in molecular and environmental biology at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Bowe then worked as a veterinary assistant at multiple Bay Area ER/specialty referral hospitals before pursuing his veterinary degree at University of California, Davis. 

After veterinary school, he relocated to the Bay Area for a 1-year rotating specialty/emergency internship at SAGE San Francisco. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Bowe enjoys cooking, hiking, camping, going to concerts and spending time with his partner and dog.
