Clinical Interests: Critical case anesthetic management and advanced anesthesia monitoring, locoregional anesthesia, equine and large animal anesthesia, and patient safety.
Dr. Burbery obtained her Bachelor of Veterinary Science with Honors at the University of Queensland, Australia. She then completed an equine internship at the University of Adelaide, Australia; during which she discovered her love for anesthesia, and went on to complete a specialized anesthesia and analgesia internship at Massey University in New Zealand. She was then accepted into a residency in anesthesia and analgesia at UC Davis and successfully passed her specialty board examinations, gaining Diplomate status with the American College of Anesthesia and Analgesia in August 2025.
When she’s not in the hospital, Dr. Burbery enjoys exploring the Bay Area and being out in nature, cooking and baking, and spending time with her cat, Squid.
