Dr. Wilson grew up in Northern California and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis. She went on to complete internships at the University of Pennsylvania and at Veterinary Specialty Hospital North County in Southern California before returning to UC Davis to complete a residency in small animal surgery. 

While she enjoys all aspects of veterinary surgery, her professional interests include minimally invasive procedures such as arthroscopic and laparoscopic surgery, as well as hepatobiliary and urinary tract surgery. 

Outside of work, Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, snowboarding, camping, swimming, playing sports, and biking. She also loves attending live performances, including musical theater and concerts, and shares her home with two dogs and a cat.
