Dr. Julianna Perez is a board-certified specialist in small animal internal medicine with a passion for complex case management and advanced diagnostics. Her clinical interests include interventional radiology, aerodigestive disorders, renal and endocrine diseases, immune-mediated conditions, and gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders.
Dr. Perez began her veterinary journey volunteering in her uncle’s clinic in Mexico and continued to pursue her passion throughout her undergraduate studies in Davis, California. She completed her didactic training at Ross University and clinical training at Cornell University. Dr. Perez further advanced her expertise through a rotating internship at Angell Animal Medical Center, a specialty internal medicine internship at the University of Missouri, and completed her residency at BluePearl Scottsdale in Arizona.
Inspired by her uncle and lifelong love for animals, Dr. Perez is dedicated to providing compassionate, expert care and forming strong partnerships with pet parents and referring veterinarians.
When she’s not at work, Dr. Perez enjoys traveling, visiting Disneyland, going to the beach, shopping, and spending time with her fiancé, family, and her beloved pets — two cats, Beignet and Filly, and a dog named Luka.
