I completed my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine near my hometown at the Université de Montréal in Canada, before completing an internship at the Ontario Veterinary College (approx. 1h from Toronto). I had initially planned to specialize in Cardiology, and I pursued an internship in Emergency Medicine at the University of California, Davis, to strengthen my overall skills as a clinician. During this program, I fell in love with Emergency Medicine and Critical Care and decided to extend my training an additional year and dedicate myself to the field. My favourite aspects of Emergency Medicine are the range of cases and the opportunity to meet and help my patients and their families through difficult times.
