Polina Skliarevitch

Dr. Polina Skliarevitch is originally from Latvia and earned her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVM&S) with distinction from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at the University of Edinburgh in 2020. After graduation, she worked as a hospitalist at a busy 24/7 veterinary hospital in Riga, Latvia, before completing a rotating internship at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic and Referral Centre in Toronto, Canada.

She recently completed a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine as well as a Master's of Science degree at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2025.

Dr. Skliarevitch has a special interest in gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreatic diseases, and is currently working on a research project investigating long-term complications in cats with chronic pancreatitis. She enjoys the complexity of Internal Medicine cases and the problem-solving that they require, and values the opportunity to build long-term relationships with clients as they navigate their pets' health journeys together.

Dr. Skliarevitch recently moved to Northern California and is excited to explore the Bay Area’s hiking trails, food scene, cultural events, and vibrant communities.
