Dr. Suchowersky is originally from Sydney, Australia. She received her Bachelor of Animal Science degree from Sydney University and her DVM degree from Melbourne University.

 Following graduation, she completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery in Gaithersburg, Maryland and a specialty internship in small animal internal medicine at Auburn University. 

She completed a residency in small animal internal medicine and a Master of Science degree at Auburn University. War Eagle! 

Dr. Suchowersky is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (small animal).
