Marichris Nario

Dr. Marichris Nario was born and raised in the Philippines before moving to San Jose in high school. She studied human physiology at UCLA and spent the next 5 years volunteering at animal non-profits while working as a veterinary assistant at a local non-profit veterinary hospital. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Western University in 2019 and immediately completed a small animal rotating internship at Encina Veterinary Medical Center in Walnut Creek.

When she’s not working, Dr. Nario enjoys exploring new cities, riding her bike, swimming in rivers, and kayaking the Bay. She also has special interests in interior design, gardening and reading and spending her home time watching her senior spaniel mix, Snooky, sleep 20 hours a day.
