Veterinary School: University of California, Davis Internship Training: Animal Specialty Group

Dr. Johanne Lu obtained her DVM degree from the University of California, Davis in 2004. She completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Animal Specialty Group (Los Angeles, CA). She went on to practice general and emergency medicine at a 24-Hour hospital in Los Angeles. She recently relocated to Northern California and joined Santa Cruz Veterinary Hospital in 2017. Her professional interests include surgery and emergency medicine. In her free time, Dr. Lu enjoys spending time with her husband and their rescue dog, Einstok. She enjoys hiking, pottery, snowboarding, scuba diving, and travel.
