Dr. Jiayin Liu was born and raised in Guangdong, China. She came to the U.S in 2012 to attend UC Davis undergraduate studies. She finished her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at the Ohio State University in 2020. 

Dr. Liu completed a small animal rotating internship at Oregon State University and then went to Washington State University to finish her second internship in Emergency and Critical Care. She enjoys the variety of emergency medicine and the comprehensive thinking associated with emergency case management.

Outside of her work, she enjoyed outfitting her cat (Helios for his English name and “Lai Fu” for his Chinese name) for special occasions. She also enjoys hiking, tea tasting and watching movies with her friends and families.
