Background and Education Veterinary School: University of California, Davis

Dr. Danna Breinberg received her DVM from the University of California, Davis (2010), having previously graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a BA in Biology. For several years in between, she worked as a medical researcher at biotech companies and universities and did wildlife conservation research in South Africa.

After vet school, Dr. Breinberg worked as a general practitioner veterinarian for 10 years at various hospitals in the Bay Area, handling preventative care, emergency care, and general surgery. She loves working with animals, making a difference in their quality of life, and easing pain.

When Dr. Breinberg is not treating patients, she enjoys spending her time with her husband, two kids, and two cats. She also enjoys singing, dancing, and musical theater. She feels most at home outdoors, whether camping, hiking, gardening, bird watching, or just listening to the waves at the beach.
