Dr. Beehler hails originally from the East Coast and joined the SAGE team in September 2023. She received her veterinary degree from Oregon State University, completed a small animal rotating internship in Los Angeles, and worked as an emergency clinician outside Philadelphia for two years before deciding to pursue an internal medicine residency at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston. She was accepted as a Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2023.  

Dr. Beehler is interested in many aspects of internal medicine, but in particular she enjoys endocrinology (especially diabetes), gastroenterology, and immune-mediated diseases. She has a special interest in supporting patients with chronic illnesses and formulating manageable treatment plans. Outside of work, Dr. Beehler can be found paddleboarding or hiking up mountains with her terrier-mix Toby.
