Background and Education

Veterinary School: University of California, Davis

Dr. Catherine Garcia received her DVM from the University of California, Davis (2007), having previously graduated with high honors from the University of California, Davis, with a BS in Animal Science. Dr. Garcia has been in the veterinary industry for 20 years and started as a veterinary assistant.

She enjoys working with pet parents and helping improve the lives of pets. Dr. Garcia is particularly interested in forensic veterinary medicine.

When she is not treating animals, you can catch Dr. Garcia homeschooling her children or enjoying some time her time with her husband who is one of SAGE Campbell’s Internist, Dr. Ryan Garcia. She also enjoys knitting, hiking, and triathlons. Dr. Garcia loves animals! Her house is full of different types animals: two labs, two cats, four Nigerian dwarf goats, two horses, a flock of chickens, ducks, a lion head, African grey parrot, and a ball python.
