Dr Amanda Stolpa joined SAGE SF in the summer of 2022.  She is a Bay Area native, born and raised in Palo Alto, California. She completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of California, Davis, and then went to pursue her Veterinary school degree at Ross University on the island of St Kitts. Her final clinical year of school brought her back to UC Davis Veterinary Teaching Hospital where she completed her veterinary school training. 

After veterinary school, she did a 1-year rotating specialty/emergency and general practice internship at Pet Care Veterinary Hospital in Santa Rosa in 2014. She remained there as a staff doctor until 2020. She then worked for 2 years as an ER doctor at the Pet Emergency Specialty Center of Marin until the summer of 2022 at which time she relocated to San Francisco.

She currently resides in Noe Valley with her husband, her senior black Labrador Stu, and her talkative grey tabby Dapper. In her spare time, Dr Stolpa enjoys cycling the hills of San Francisco and Marin, cooking, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying the delicious dining options of the Bay Area.
