Veterinary School: Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine Internship Training: Animal Medical Center, New York

Liza Newsom-Stewart is originally from Connecticut and attended Cornell University for undergraduate and veterinary school. She then completed a rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. After completing her internship, Dr. Newsom-Stewart worked as a general practice veterinarian in New York City for six months before moving to San Francisco in February 2018. Dr. Newsom-Stewart is interested in all aspects of emergency medicine, as well as dermatology and internal medicine. In her free time, Dr. Newsom-Stewart enjoys hiking, exercising, exploring the Bay Area, and spending time with her fiance, dog, and cat.
