WHAT CLIENTS ARE SAYING:
Sophie
“Poor Ancient Grain! Here eye wouldn’t open, so we went right to SAGE ER! We learned her eye socket pressure was very high causing her to go blind. Thank you to the incredible surgeon, vet techs, and staff for pulling a late night surgery! They ended up saving her eye! When I asked why not operate in the morning, the surgeon said “no need for Sophie to suffer any longer.” Thank you Veterinary Vision too! You guys are amazing!”
Biggie
“Today i was discharged from the hospital for my heart surgery. Thank you Dr. Banz and their awesome staff for helping mama through the whole process. I’m safe at home now!”
Achilles
“I am so touched by the caring veterinarians and staff at SAGE in Campbell. I just received a call from the florist to arrange a delivery of flowers on behalf of SAGE. My heartfelt thanks, I know Achilles was very well taken care of.”
Filbert Mutt
“Thank you SAGE physical therapy department for taking such good care of me. My mama is so thankful for the videos of my sessions during this epidemic. I’m thankful for the chicken!”

SAGE Collaboration: Hairball Gone Wrong!
This nice kitty came in on Friday, National Cat Hairball Awareness Day for vomiting. It turns out that he had a 2 inch long hairball stuck in the small intestine that had to be removed surgically. Dr. Lukas admitted him, Dr. Ensley ultrasounded him and confirmed an obstruction, Dr. Aitken came in late Friday night to perform emergency surgery, and Dr. Morris took care of him over the weekend. Percey went home Sunday, and is doing great.
SAGE Dublin SUPERHEROES
On Saturday at 7 am, Rosa Cortes, one of our ER nurses, noticed a lone mallard wandering around in our parking lot. Fearing that he would be hit by a car, she along with two internal medicine nurses, Sam Belmont and Alix Van Den Oudealler, shoed him to the creek behind our hospital. As they did so, Mrs. Mallard flew over, and they left together.
Marlena – SAGE Dublin
Marlena took a call from a client who needs a refill on a medication and we offered to mail it. Unfortunately that would take too long, so Marlena offered to meet the owner close to her home and hand off the medication since she lives close to Marlena. GO MARLENA! So awesome!
Logan
Logan is a 1 1/2 year old frequent flyer at SAGE. He came in yesterday for vomiting after the owners suspected that he chewed up and ate his ball. Note that for some reason the ball manufacturer thought it would be a good idea to make this a bacon scented ball! Xrays showed the ball in the stomach. Dr Ensley and Yvonne stayed late on Friday night to do endoscopy and they were able to remove the ball! A shout out to Dr. Holz as well who manages his allergic skin disease- his coat looked fantastic!
