Dr. Martin Crawford-Jakubiak (or Dr. J, as he is warmly referred to by his clients) attended the University of Rochester, where he earned a BS in Microbiology, and Drexel University, where he received a Master’s in Laboratory Animal Science. He earned his DVM from the Atlantic Veterinary College of the University of Prince Edward Island (2002). From there, he completed his small animal internship, and internal medicine and oncology residencies at Bay Area Veterinary Specialists. Dr. J earned board certification in internal medicine in 2006 and in oncology in 2007.
Martin particularly enjoys providing individualized internal medicine and oncology care to the highly complex veterinary patient. In other words, he loves cracking the toughest cases with his trademark compassion and care. When not practicing, he enjoys tending to his own brood: an adorable set of twins and two cats. Dr. J was drawn to veterinary medicine by his love of animals, and can trace the beginning of his career path back to when he was just four years old.
