SAGE Veterinary Centers Adds Another Specialty Hospital to Their Growing Community of Hospitals

SAGE Welcomes Animal Internal Medicine & Specialty Services (AIMSS) to their growing Community of Hospitals

Concord, Calif. (May 19, 2021) – SAGE Veterinary Centers is excited to announce that they have added a specialty hospital to their growing community of hospitals through a new partnership with Animal Internal Medicine & Specialty Services (AIMSS). The partnership will expand SAGE’s footprint in the Bay Area, making AIMSS the 10th location for SAGE in the state of California and the 16th in the nation.

AIMSS, a 24-hour specialty and emergency veterinary care facility in San Francisco, recently moved into a new building in February located on 600 Alabama Street in the Mission District of San Francisco. The new building and partnership with SAGE will help accommodate AIMSS’s growing business and expand care for pet parents in the Bay Area.

AIMSS was founded in 2011 by Jill Williamson, DVM, DACVECC, a board-certified emergency and critical care doctor. Today, AIMSS is proud to be a local San Francisco business that employs many Bay Area residents with a passion for animal care and welfare.

“The AIMSS team is excited for this new partnership with SAGE; their values of dedicated and compassionate pet care align with ours. We look forward to continuing to provide the highest quality care and specialty and emergency services to our thousands of pet parents with SAGE as our new partner,” says Dr. Jill Williamson Founder of AIMSS.

SAGE Veterinary Centers welcomes this new addition to their community of practices. AIMSS is the only 24/7 pet emergency hospital in San Francisco and provides a multitude of specialty services, including advanced critical care with expertise in pulmonology and mechanical ventilation, surgery, cardiology, oncology, diagnostic imaging, and an ambulance service, building upon the high level of services SAGE currently offers.

“Partnering with the skilled team at Animal Internal Medicine & Specialty Services is exciting news for us. We are honored that they have decided to join SAGE to continue their outstanding patient care and look forward to continuing to improve the lives of pets and their people together,” says Gina Del Vecchio, SAGE Chief Executive Officer.
