Dr. Tiffany Kan grew up in Mountain View, California and graduated from UC Davis in 2008 with a degree in animal science. She worked as a veterinary technician for 5 years prior to moving to Fort Collins, Colorado where she first obtained a Master's degree in Toxicology before attending veterinary school at Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated cum laude from CSU in 2017. Following vet school, Dr. Kan moved to Boston, Massachusetts for a vigorous 1-year rotating internship at Angell Animal Medical Center. 

She then moved to Houston, Texas to complete a surgical internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists. In 2019, Dr. Kan moved back to the East Coast to continue her surgical training with a 3-year small animal surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia. 

Her surgical interests include soft tissue surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, and neurologic surgery.

Dr. Kan is excited to be back in California. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Charles, and their dogs, Kobay and Lilo. She also enjoys oil painting, reading mystery novels, and watching the Niners play football.
