Veterinary School and Degree: California Polytechnic State University of San Luis Obispo (BS), UC Davis (Doctor of Vet. Med) 

Clinical Interests: Providing care for critically ill patients, pain management, nutrition

Dr. Elizabeth Ochi attended California Polytechnic State University of San Luis Obispo where she received her BS in Animal Science. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from UC Davis and after graduation, moved back to SLO County to practice emergency medicine at a 24/7 ER hospital before moving to the Bay area. 

Within veterinary medicine, Dr. Ochi is passionate about taking care of critically ill animals and especially managing their pain and nutrition while in hospital. She believes an owner should never feel helpless regarding the care of their pet and greatly values being part of the team that supports the family in understanding what is going on in disease and health.

On her days off, Dr. Ochi enjoys playing all kinds of games with friends and spending time with family in SoCal (including her dog, Kodi) and Japan.
