Dr. Lori Cesario is originally from Long Island, New York. A graduate of Penn State University, she received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Bioscience. After college, Dr. Cesario worked in a lab at Cornell University developing mouse models of human prostate and mammary cancers, amongst others. Dr. Cesario then attended Ross University Veterinary School, with a clinical year at the University of Wisconsin. She completed two internships: a small animal rotating internship at the University of Illinois, followed by an oncology specialty internship at NC State. She then returned to the Midwest for an oncology residency at Michigan State University.
Dr. Cesario is committed to maintaining a high quality of life in patients that are feeling well, and improving the lives of patients that are feeling poorly. She uses her expertise to develop tailored treatment plans for each individual patient and family. Dr. Cesario’s professional interests include electrochemotherapy. SAGE is one of the few veterinary practices in the country to offer this service.
When she is not at the hospital, Dr. Cesario enjoys hiking, vegetarian cooking, and attending barre fitness classes.
