Dr. Jill Kuhl is a graduate of UC San Diego, where she majored in physiology and neuroscience. Dr. Kuhl then earned a Masters as well as a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UC San Francisco. Dr. Kuhl presented her doctoral research at the California Physical Therapy Association Conference in 2011. She obtained her certification as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist in 2012.
Dr. Kuhl particularly enjoys the challenges of canine and feline pediatrics and neurological diagnoses. She was initially drawn to physical therapy by her own experience as a patient after a knee injury. While attending a physical therapy convention, she discovered canine rehabilitation and became interested in applying her skills to the veterinary world. When not practicing, Jill is an accomplished artist/painter whose work has been shown in several galleries. She also enjoys skydiving, kickboxing, international travel, and cooking. She is also a doctor with Los Medico Voladores (Flying Doctors) and participates in non-profit work in Guatemala and Peru.
