Dr. David Raczek is a graduate of Carleton College, where he earned a BA in Classical Studies. He received his DVM from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University (2008). Dr. Raczek then completed a rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital (2009), followed by a specialty internship in neurology and neurosurgery at Long Island Veterinary Specialists (2010). He then completed a residency in neurology and neurosurgery at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine (2013). Dr. Raczek became board certified in internal medicine (neurology) in 2013.
Dr. Raczek is interested in all aspects of medical and surgical neurology, but especially enjoys the challenges of diagnosis and putting together all of the pieces to find an answer. When not practicing, David enjoys playing a number of different sports, especially hockey. His wife, Nadia, is also a hockey player. He is the proud owner of two mixed-breed dogs and two cats. David was drawn to veterinary medicine in part due to seeing the suffering of many stray animals while traveling through Italy as a student.
